How many pictures can be uploaded?

We would like to hold no more than 3 pictures per building, with a maximum of 150 pictures per university. You may submit pictures even though we already have 100 pictures in the database. In this case, our editors will select the most appropriate ones to be shown.

Can pictures be uploaded that cover university interiors?
Yes. As long as they present useful information about the university campus, these pictures can be uploaded.

Can a picture of a friend appear in a photo?
No. The allaboutuni.com website only accepts neutral pictures i.e. smiling friends in front of a building will not be accepted! Unidentifiable pedestrians will of course be allowed.

Presentation order will be based on alphabetical order. For example, if you select a university and then the department, the pictures of the department building(s) will appear in alphabetical order. Non-departmental photos (e.g. institutes and campus art) will then follow. Additional display formats are also available on the left of the page.

University information

What is meant by a ‘Brief description of the university campus’?

Each university should include a brief description of the university campus. Please make it useful for somebody thinking of studying at the university.

Which URL links should I provide?

Please provide detailed URL addresses. The idea is that the viewer either obtains the information immediately or only has to make one additional click to obtain the desired information.

What date do I use for university statistics?
Please provde the most recent information available. Sometimes a statistic is linked to a year (e.g. the total number of students at the university) and this cannot be defined. Please provide this information as follows:

Number of (full-time) MBA students: 350 (2004-05)

What is meant by a ‘Graduate' and 'Postgraduate' student?
In North America, a graduate student has completed a Bachelor and the person is continuing his/her university education e.g. a Master's degree. In the United Kingdom and many other countries, this same person is called a postgraduate student. We have therefore defined this category as 'Graduate / Postgraduate'.
